Study Timetable

Copy this timetable and personalise it to help you prepare for exams and assessment tasks, particularly at busy times of the year. (It has come out a bit squashed here but you can make your own or fix this back in Word…)

Here are some suggestions for using the timetable

  1. The hour blocks should include no more than a 45-50 minute session. Use the extra 10-15 min to have a cup of tea, email a friend, run around the block or read a chapter of a book etc etc.
  2. Switch regularly between different subjects
  3. Reward yourself with social, TV or hobby time
  4. Keep up a solid routine of exercise. This is good for the brain and heart.
  5. Divide each subject (e.g. Science) into sub-units that can be realistically worked on in a 45 minute block.
